I serve as editor of Washington, the magazine of Washington University in St. Louis. For more than 20 years, I’ve collaborated with creative teams and campus partners to tell the broader story of the university and its essential missions of teaching, research and service to society.
It’s an honor and privilege to showcase the world-changing research of our faculty and accomplishments of our students and alumni, and to build and maintain relationships with all our audiences through engaging storytelling. Currently, we produce three print magazines annually (and corresponding digital issues) in April, August and December, and three digital-only issues in February, June and October.
When I’m not working — obsessing over publishing details and deadlines — I spend time hanging with family and friends and my big goldendoodle, Bo; gardening in the yard; traveling to new places; reading a new book or magazine.
