Prior to joining WashU in 2017, I enjoyed a successful career as a professional musician for over two decades, performing and teaching throughout the Midwest.
As the digital content and web support specialist, I provide technical assistance and training to campus partners who are working in university-branded websites. I love teaching, using the latest technologies to find new ways to solve problems, and empowering campus partners to use the WordPress toolbox to its fullest. Leveraging my master’s degree in mass communications and background in music and art, I am able to provide expert guidance on content migration, documentation, and user experience. A favorite aspect of my job is problem-solving with campus partners and colleagues to find the best possible solution to issues.
When not immersed in the digital world, I cherish quality time with my daughter, husband, and beloved tuxedo cat. My passions extend beyond work, encompassing a diverse range of interests such as trivia, creative writing, yoga, gardening, painting, origami, calligraphy, and my newfound love for standup paddleboarding.
