As senior news director of public health, I am excited to promote Washington University’s first new school in 100 years: a planned School of Public Health, launching in fall 2026.
I’ve spent most of my career at Washington University, starting as editor of the Record and then editing Outlook magazine at the School of Medicine for nearly 11 years. Additionally, I served on a small PR team that helped launch St. Clare Health Center, the region’s first new hospital in 35 years. I’m a Mizzou J-school grad and have worked as a reporter and editor for area newspapers.
I live in Oakville with my husband, Tim, and daughter Kit. Our son, Joey, and daughter Jessica have transitioned out of the nest. I love reading, traveling and long lunches with friends.
