As the Associate Vice Chancellor for University Communications, I serve as a key strategist and spokesperson. I also oversee external and internal communications, including media relations and the production of WashU magazine. My role also involves crisis communications and issues management.

I have more than 25 years of experience in communications and marketing, including roles as Executive Director of University Marketing and Communications at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at St. Louis Community College, Communications Manager for Jazz St. Louis, and Media Relations Manager at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

My professional journey is deeply intertwined with my commitment to the St. Louis community. I serve as a board member and volunteer for several organizations, including NABJ-St. Louis, St. Louis ArtWorks, Webster Arts, the Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis, Propel Kitchens, and Wyman.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a graduate degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University.

In my spare time, you will find me chasing after my teenage daughter, Kelsey, and trying new restaurants with my husband and better half, John.
