I cover the amazing students who bring life to this campus, the projects and partnerships that connect us to St. Louis and the traditions that make WashU special. I especially enjoy writing about Washington University’s many efforts to improve K-12 education in the St. Louis region.

I am an alum myself, graduating with degrees in history and political science. As a student, I was involved in KWUR and Student Life. Today, I serve as a Student Life board member and love working with young journalists.

I earned my graduate degree in public affairs reporting at University of Illinois – Springfield. Prior to joining University Marketing & Communications, I was a reporter at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

I am a proud resident of the City of St. Louis and live in the Tower Grove South neighborhood where I spend my free time running in Tower Grove Park, eating in South Grand’s restaurants and taking long walks in the neighborhood with my husband, two children and friendly pitbull, Cannonball.
